Falling in Love with Chicago U
The University of Chicago has a magical campus that reminds me of harry potter/1950’s ivy league feel. The campus is enormous and most likely you will never know where you are going. I got to work on some research here for a few days and I took every opportunity to explore the mini-town just outside one of my favorite cites. Not only did I fall absolutely in love with the architecture and ivy growing all over EVERYTHING, I got some beautiful quick shots while passing through.
With the mix of new and aged buildings, anyone can fit in here. If you are ever in the windy city I highly recommend taking an hour or two to explore. The university is also in hyde park, another beautiful place, which you must check out !

I am your aunt Karen, Kay’s( your grandmother’s sister). Have not seen you since you were a little girl. So sorry I was never home when you & your mother would be driving thru Atlanta these past couple years. Would so love to see you again. I will be in Columbus in late May or early June and plan to hook up with Debbie. Hope you will be around too. Love the blog!! I myself, as much as I travel, have never seen Chicago. I am SO proud of you!!
