Koh Samui Beach Hopping

Thailand Travel, Tropical Travel, Photo Editing, Travel Photography, Nature Photography,

A guide for an amazing day of beach hopping in Koh Samui! A full day of three beautiful beaches along the east coast of the island! It was great 🙂

My trip through Thailand actually began with flying into the island of Koh Samui. This is the largest of the three main islands on the East side of southern Thailand and is a perfect spot to see the Aug Thong Marine National Park.

Chaweng Beach

The first stop was at Chaweng beach! This was a lovely beach with a few restaurants and beach clubs to hit up! SEEN Beach Club is a really neat one to check out!

Chaweng is a pretty very long stretch of beach with lots of room to layout even if there are a lot of other tourists.

We found a nice spot with the shade of a tree and chilled out for about an hour. As we had a full day an hour was perfect but if you feel like you want to stay a few hours then bring a speaker and some snacks and enjoy the beautiful blue water of Thailand!

Silver Beach

Silver Beach was a gorgeous beach with turquoise waters and those beautiful rock formations that Thailand is known for! This beach is much smaller in size but still comfortable to lounge around.

To get to the beach, I felt that it was more of a maze. Where we found everyone parking their bikes was off the side of a busy road in front of a hotel, so not sure if that was correct. Then you walk down a long path (5 minute walk) next to some hotel bungalows. Besides a singular restaurant on the beach there isn’t much else besides sand, water, and some large boulder formations.

Lamai Beach

Lamai Beach was the last stop on the beach hopping itinerary. This beach is a perfect spot to relax at a beach bar for a late snack or a casual drink! Most places will have seats on the sand which is a great spot to relax after a long day in the sun and watch the sunset.
