Have you always wanted to visit the Maldives? Well, any time to jet off to paradise is a great decision, but there are times of the year the weather will be in your favor and the best times to visit the Maldives.
In the Maldives, there are two main monsoons that bring a dry and wet season. The wet season is usually from April/May to October and the dry season is from October to around April.
The best time to visit the Maldives is during the dry season which is known for perfect conditions. Coming with no rainy days, great water visibility, and calm seas. This is also the time of year that prices may triple or more in price. That’s flights, hotels/resorts… everything :/. But still, worth it all, especially if this is a trip that you have been planning forever. The Maldives has its prestige for a reason and it will not disappoint!
Although the wet season, is very, well wet, it can also have its perks. Like being able to visit the Maldives on a smaller than expected budget. Many people have this place on their bucket list and if you are willing to have a “glass is half full” perspective, I would definitely recommend visiting during the offseason. You’ll still experience paradise, just possibly with a few rainy days.
